During its long history today's Parkhotel Graz has seen many owners and quite a lot of refurbishments. When master baker August Florian, the great-grandfather of todays host Philipp Florian, took over the hotel in 1933, the hotel's story of success commenced. It is this story that made the Parkhotel Graz the popular hotel it is today.
Many parts of the venerable building tell stories from the past. The lovely rose garden's history goes back to 1936, when August Florian had quite recently taken over the hotel. The old wood barn in the middle of the building, which accommodated the guests' horses, was teared off and a Biedermeier garden was build in its place. This is today's rose garden, which has no equal. Oasis of peace, garden, café – the rose garden's idyllic atmosphere has enchanted and fascinated many visitors in Graz.
The rose garden is a very quiet spot in the city, where guests love to come and enjoy a coffee break or a snack. During lunchtime and in the evening the guests at our hotel are especially indulged. Choose between our 3-course meal or the á la carte dishes, created and prepared by our longterm chef Kurt Mörth and his team. Surrounded by gorgeous roses and lush green, our garden is the perfect place for a romantic dinner or a meal with friends. During warm evenings you can dine even more beautifully.
Look forward to your holiday in the capital of indulgence that is Graz! Your room at the Parkhotel Graz is only a step away: send your no obligation holiday enquiry to your hosts, the Florian family, now!
